Wondering how to set up your phd dissertation structure? Or how to write strong headings for thesis proposals or research proposals? Are you looking for a phd dissertation or thesis outline?
This table of contents (given to DoctoralNet by a graduating doctoral student)
Your doctoral PhD thesis proposal needs to be written appropriately for the particular stakeholders, context and environment of the study you wish to undertake. This article discusses two university contexts which you may wish to consider as you move from planning into thesis proposal writing. A sister article goes into more detail for those readers who are working at a university in the United States.
- This template may be copied as a beginning Table of Contents and then again for Headings and Sub Headings for Chapters.
- This is only one solid model among many. See the guidelines posted by your university and/or mix this model and others you find in published dissertations as you feel appropriate for the logic of your work and with the approval of your advisor. You have to defend the logic of the study you choose and that logic is defined by how these headings and subheadings go together.
